Day 1: Arrive in Auckland
Welcome to New Zealand's largest city, blending harbour islands, Polynesian culture and a vibrant city centre, Auckland has been ranked amongst top in the world as a lifestyle city. Upon arrival in Auckland you will be transferred to your downtown accommodation.

Day 2: Auckland
Experience the best of Auckland today by using the 24 Hour Hop on Hop off Bus to visit the highlights the inner city offers before heading out to the untamed coastline of the rugged West Coast with deep black beaches and subtropical rainforests.

Day 3: Auckland to Rotorua
Depart to Rotorua in style on a coach tour from Auckland to Hobbiton Movie Set and discover where cinematic magic was made. Take a guided tour of the famous Hobbiton Movie Set, located inside a picturesque 1,250- acre sheep and beef farm near Matamata. Here, the village of Hobbiton was carefully created in amazing detail as a film location for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie trilogies. During your guided tour of this amazing location, you'll see sights like Hobbit Holes, the Mill, and The Green Dragon Inn, and learn how farmland was transformed into a living, breathing piece of Middle-earth. Cruise on the Interislander ferry from Wellington to Picton and then connect with the Coastal Pacific train from Picton to Christchurch.
